"My mum's stay on ward 22 Orthopaedic March 2017."

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

My mum is 88 has Alzheimer's , a few medical issues and was admitted to ward 22 Orthopaedic with a fracture to her hip . She went in through A &E from her nursing home, for whom I am very grateful stayed with her until she was admitted . I would just like to praise all staff in this ward , they treated her with dignity and respect throughout her time there, especially when they were extremely busy and she was not exactly compliant a lot of the time or particular pleasant to them . They showed her kindness and patience and just got on and did their jobs. She stayed almost a week and I was constantly updated on her progress , the ward sister was particularly informative and empathetic ,
