I would like to express my thanks to the Maternity Department at East Surrey Hospital, in particular a midwife who I have seen for appointments in the Ante Natal Day Unit. Whilst I cannot mention them by name within this review, I have mentioned them by email to the department in a separate note of thanks.
I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and have received the most outstanding care and attention from East Surrey Hospital so far. I have certain complications which place me in the high risk category, and the midwives I have seen have all been very attentive, knowledgeable and empathetic. Particularly the individual referred to above, who not only remembers me personally when I see them, but has gone above and beyond their duties of care for me to ensure that any worries or concerns I have had have been acknowledged and addressed. The midwife has made me feel considerably more at ease since discussing certain issues which have previously caused much anxiety, and both my partner and I would like to extend our sincere thanks to them and everyone else on the department that we have seen.
