What I liked

The professionalism, efficiency and respect and caring shown for what was, for me, a very distressing time.

The team are absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, kind and considerate. I was kept informed at every step taken. Anaesthesia staff made sure I was safe and comfortable and I never felt afraid.

Recovery staff I have a lot of respect for and the nursing team on Riverside L2 were so supportive. I dont know all their names but everyone of them showed they were in the correct profession - so understanding, so helpful, so kind and very efficient. Once I was in a lot of pain and a nurse sorted it immediately.

The area at Riverside Wing is perfect, clean, bright, new and the bathroom area cleaned constantly. All my visitors were soooo impressed I felt as if I was in a private ward.

The food was hot and the guy that served the tea during the day was so polite and courteous and helpful with tea for visitors I was really thankful.

What could be improved

Nothing - for me absolutely perfect.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for very much planned and effective treatment following on from what began as a routine (letter in the post) screening date that I kept to. I havent been an "ill" person for the last 30 years so to go through this in a relaxed manner was all thanks to the staff at Charing Cross in understanding my challenge and listening to how I felt. I just did what they said and am now in recovery rather than a worse fate and can look forward to spending time with my children and new grandson - hence so grateful for the care and treatment given.

If you are going for treatment please listen to what they say, understand the process and ask questions. Time is given to your needs and positive action is always the process.
