"Radiology Dept, Whiston Hospital"

I recently went for a Barium Enema at the X-ray department at Whiston.

I was quite nervous because I wasn't sure what to expect and it is quite an invasive procedure.

I had no need to worry. From the moment I entered the X-ray department I was put at my ease. A member of staff met me, and throughout the procedure I was accompanied by the radiographer and this member of staff.

Everything was explained throughout the procedure, the staff kept reassuring me and asking me how I was.

I was out within 30 minutes. The time of my appt. was 5.00 p.m. which was great.
