My daughter, who is a patient of the Cancer Centre was taken ill on Tuesday 28 February. We were advised to take her to Royal Stoke A&E Department. Within minutes she was in a room, and the sepsis pathway immediately put into place. The care and attention that she received was excellent and the doctor who attended to her was caring and extremely reassuring and competent. The following morning she was transferred to Ward 201 at the Cancer Centre. The team of staff who cared for her excel in all that they do. From being initially assessed in the Cancer Centre Emergency Assessment Unit to being cared for within an individual room on Ward 201 the care from doctors, nurses and housekeeping staff was perfect. She has made a full recovery from the sepsis infection and I am sure this is as a result of the prompt attention and excellent care she received. Massive thank you to all the staff who helped in her recovery.
"Excellent care in Royal Stoke A&E and Ward 201"
