What I liked
All staff were professional, caring and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. They were all happy to answer questions and address any issues that worried me and I found there level of patient concern to be outstanding. The place itself is pleasant and clean and is more personal than the 40 bed wards in other hospitals.I had a knee replacement and will return next year to get the other one done.
What could be improved
Food not too bad, however, breakfast cereal and milk could be served separately-cereal tended to be soggy. Also, maybe a 'healthy choice' could be put onto the menu. The bins in toilets are not practical, the pedal to open them is extremely heavy and I was scared to use my operated leg or my other leg so ended up trying to lift the lid with my hands, not easy when you've got crutches.
Anything else?
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience.
