"I was recovering from Lung Surgery, ..."

About: Alexandra Hospital

What I liked

I was recovering from Lung Surgery, most nurse's were careing apart from one who jumped down my throat and rushed in my room and said "What are you ring the buzzer for"? I was wired up to a machine and had a chest drain in the side of my rib cage and I could not get to the toilet by my self. I thought she was bad mannered and rude, I don't know her name but I would of liked her to say sorry to me. I felt vunerable and helpless.

What could be improved

If she was that busy she could of got someone else to attend to me, I still am angery about this nurse, she should of apologized to me.

Anything else?

Yes I still have to go to the Alexandra for my check ups to make sure my caner does not come back and that my lung is healing ok, but I feel bitter towards this nurse. When the incident took place another nurse heard how the nurse had spoken to me and she said there is no need to treat the patients like that. I it was not me making a fuss about nothing.
