"I was terrified of coming in but the staff made me feel OK"

About: Liverpool Womens Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I came in 2 weeks ago for an operation on ward 2. Everything was really good, they really look after you. I was really terrified of coming because I don't like hospitals. But because the staff were really friendly and explained everything to me I felt OK. The surgeon was also good, talked to me before the operation and told me what would happen. Today I came to the aftercare clinic; staff were again really good. I was less frightened because of how good they were when they operated.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Your feedback will be shared with both the medical and nursing staff. It is important that our patients feel supported and are able to fully understand their plan of care.
