"I felt there was not enough nursing attention"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

(as the patient),

I am a carer of someone who stayed at the Royal Bolton Hospital on A4/A3, who was there for a mixture of treatments. The medical care and the nursing care was good, but, the nurses were understaffed, and overworked. I felt the wards were dirty.

I would like to thank the nurses on ward B3, they were brilliant. However, I felt the nurses on ward A4 were not attentive enough.

Thank you for your comments. While we are pleased that you had some good care, it is concerning that not all your care was of an equally high standard. It is also worrying that you found the wards were dirty, particularly as we have increased cleaning in recent months. We will pass your comments on to the staff concerned for their attention.
