"I can't thank the staff enough for their care and attention"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the EPAS department on the  bleeding very heavily and threatening miscarriage. The staff nurse Michelle and the student nurse Sam were both fantastic. Both were calm and friendly continually explaining to me what was happening and what to expect next. The Registrar ( Donald) was also pleasant but professional and made me feel at ease.

I am delighted to say the pregnancy has continued to progress and I went on to have another couple of scans within the EPAS department and all the staff are a credit to the maternity service. My Husband and I can't thank the staff enough for their care and attention.

Keep up the good work!

Dear LW17

Thank you so much for your post in regards to the positive care you received at our early pregnancy unit here at Wishaw General Hospital.

I can only imagine what a worrying time this must have been for you and I am delighted to hear that Michelle, Sam and Donald were able to reassure you and help put your mind at ease.

I am glad to hear your pregnancy is progressing well and that you have had further positive experiences in the department.

Please be assured I will pass this feedback from yourself on to the 3 staff mentioned and also the early pregnancy department. I know they will really appreciate your feedback.

I hope you keep well during the rest of your pregnancy.

Kind Regards

Lyn
