About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / The Woodlands (inpatient unit for substance misuse)

(as a relative),

l have just spoken to staff about my husband's treatment and can l say they acted just like they were in the playground, no understanding at all and was quite rude to me talking over me.

First of all let me say thank you for your very honest feedback.

Here at The Woodlands we take all feedback very seriously, be it positive or negative, as it allows us to look at what we do, how we do it, and most importantly what we need to do in order to improve.

I'm really sorry to hear that you had a negative experience whilst phoning the staff team in relation to your husbands treatment and at this point I can only offer my sincerest of apologies that you were left feeling dissatisfied.

I hope you will feel reassured by the fact that I do act on all feedback and I will discuss your comments with the team at our next staff meeting as well as in 1to1 Supervision sessions with all staff.

Customer services and satisfaction is an area that we take great pride in, however on this occasion your feedback gives us reason to review this with the staff team.
