"Lump check"

Found a lump in breast went to GP and referred to cheltenham. The staff were very reassuring and friendly. Thought the lump was clear but had scan and found concerns back of the breast and under the arm. The staff sat for over an hour just talking me through what was happening. The surgeon was brilliant, came back and talked to me and offered a cancellation the same week to remove the lump and nodes under arm. The whole team were amazing they do a brilliant job and were frank and made everything clear at each stage. Went to Cheltenham general for the surgery. When going back to the breast center for after surgery check up the results came back that some of the cancer was still left in so had to go.back in for second surgery. The surgeon and all the staff were amazing again and were a great support. The second surgery came back clear. The whole process was professional and friendly and i can never thank them enough for all their support .guidance and especially to the surgeon for doing such a good job. Awaiting follow up treatment now.

Its true what they say get things checked out and go for your mamogram and other lady check ups as the time it takes to have them done could make all the difference.
