"Short stay on ward 106 via A&E and surgical..."

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Gynaecology

I had a short overnight stay on ward 106 after being seen in A&E and Surgical Assessment, all 3 departments delivered an excellent service, very efficient and prompt.

The cause of my sudden ill health took a while to establish, but I had first rate care, including numerous very prompt tests and scans, to establish a diagnosis.

Ward 106 was really excellent, all the staff, (nursing, support staff, doctors, AHP's )I met and observed, were caring and compassionate , always efficient and professional.

I was discharged and am now awaiting an impatient appointment, I may require further inpatient stays in the future but have no concerns at all about returning.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on your recent in-patient stay at our hospital. I am so pleased to read of your positive experience. I will send your lovely feedback to the Ward Managers for all three areas for the them to share with their teams.

With best wishes

Rebecca Smith, Quality Improvement Facilitator: Patient Experience.
