(as the patient),

I recently attended for an endoscopy, a procedure I was rather worried about as I had heard some horror stories about how unpleasant it was. I was warmly greeted by a lovely lady who immediately put my mind at ease, and suggested I sit in a waiting room which had a tv rather than sitting waiting in a ward. All the staff were lovely and very reassuring, the procedure was not nearly as bad as I thought. Excellent service.

Thank you for writing with such lovely words and for taking the time to do so. As a member of the Endoscopy team it is very much appreciated to receive such positive feedback. It means a great deal to know that we are carrying out our role well by giving the support and reassurance to our patients, especially when going through procedures that aren't the most pleasant.
