I sadly a have the pleasure of visting maple ward, after being on quite a
serouis hypomania for more that a week.
I was clearly in a massive state of distress and agatiaion.
With my mood very high and very volatile.
There was a member of staff who was helpful and seems to have a calming affect also, clearly was quite empatic toward my state of mind.
I had to wait for the doctors and mental health time to come and assess me, which I was very ajtated about due to me not realize the police were going to section me(and were quite forceful but sometime that needs to be the case I can accept that) also being trapped in such a small room, with to officers, and it being a not smoking hospital(inside and out)
when they did come I was greeted by a young doctors and someone who I new from the past who looked at me in a very smug mannar.
The procced to ask the usal question, while all the time one of them, sat there looking totally, despondent, and somewhat bored.
Having spoke to the young doctor they told me they was going to make a decision on my "wellbeing" and was of to another room.
Which I found very strange due to it being my wellbeing and I should be involved, ask they left the room the doctor who I had met before, turned round very abruptly and say "maybe we will get some peace and quite"
I mean by anyone nature if someone is clearly in a state of distress atagonising this person is the last thing a "proffisnal"
is ment to do. They came back in town me I was free to go and they would be writing to the mental health team. They person who I did not get on with I told them they choose words, just laughed before trying to walk of, but on the plus side I managed to lunch a trivfel they had givin me at them, covering the two police officers at the same time.
Yet again the system has failed to help me in any manner.
Yet again I have come across ataganist worker who likes to wind you up and see you go off(as funny)
yet again the police have done a better job
yet again there ward has proven to me, they don't like ill patines.
Yet again there ward has proven they can not deal with highly volatile and the must vunralble in socailty.
We truly don't have any mental health care in the uk !
They people get paid for noting, other than one dimond the rest you find will be coal !
"mental health care"
