About: St Andrew's Healthcare Birmingham / Northfield

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I never get to write my care plan. I don't see the plan very often, but when I do, I can have an input into it. My care plan helps with my section 17 leave. I would like to see my care plan. In a medium secure ward, you could have more privileges than at St Andrew's low secure. I would have thought that I would get out on leave more often. I am on shadowed leave once a week and escorted.

Thank you for your feedback. It Is great that you feel that you have input into your care plan, but we do take on board that you would like to see it more often. We are currently reviewing the care plan process to make it a better, more involving system for all patients.
