"Sitwell ward urology"

Big thank you to all the staff on the Sitwell ward. Regular checks on my blood pressure,temperature and pulse.

Could tell straight away if my pain was getting worse and asked if I needed pain relief . Noticed my low blood pressure and advised me to try and take more fluids in. Very observant staff . But what really inspired me was the around the clock care they gave 2 very poorly gentlemen that was in the beds across from me, both seem to be bed bound when I arrived with catheters fitted . The 2 gentlemen were regularly turned and positioned for feeding sleeping and bowel movements, sheets changed special mattress supplied for bed sores, Catheters emptied and measured . Both men had a number of medical conditions that had to carefully observed. But all the staff from day shift to night shift worked together really well in the care of everybody on the ward . Lot of hardworking staff doing a very difficult job and doing it well .
