"Incorrect phone number"

I needed to book an appointment for a mammogram as I am 71 years old. My last scan was in January 2014. I tried every site which linked to my local area, South Staffs, specifically Burton-on-Trent. Not one page showed the correct phone number. Every site showed an unobtainable number. Stupidly, I became frantic to reach someone who could help. Eventually I did succeed, but I despair for those other women out there who cannot find the correct phone number. Sure it isn't asking too much for a correct phone number? I am recently widowed, so being alone exacerbated my fear; having no-one at my side is a very lonely place.
