What could be improved
I came with a friend to collect someone who had had an operation. We attempted to park in the hospital car park (Charing X). The ticket machine was impossible to understand and had no instructions (you have to put in the car reg. number). I asked 5 people if they could work it - they couldn't and they were all young and used to texting, etc! We eventually gave up and drove round and round the streets trying to find somewhere to park. Thank god we didn't have someone in the car needing urgent attention. I know you want to discourage cars but sometimes they are necessary and it really isn't fair to make people's lives more complicated in an already stressful situation. These machines are not user friendly at all.
