"Enjoyable experience at John Eastwood Hospice"

About: John Eastwood Hospice (inpatient)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

In the beginning I was not too excited about this course, but was persuaded to give it a try.

From the first day I was made to feel welcome and could enjoy other peoples company and not just friends and relations. I took part in art projects which has helped me feel of use and capable of doing something other than sitting at home.

The staff have given me confidence and something to look forward to away from my home environment. This is a thoroughly enjoyable experience with friendly understanding staff and I will be sorry to leave.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experiences in the day care unit at John Eastwood Hospice. I am so pleased that you find the staff friendly and understanding and you now feel more confident.

We do appreciate patients letting us have their comments so we can make improvements, if we need to. In your case it sounds as though the service is delivering what you require.
