What I liked

I am probably an 'expert patient', having a very thick file relating to problems with heart, eye, knees, ear. I have several times been admitted to hospital either as a planned admission or an emergency.

I particularly like the current practice of being fully consulted and informed by clinical staff about the options for treatment.

What could be improved

I cannot think it possible to improve the reception and care I received in my diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.b A frightening experience was treated with kindness and calm and ongoing support.

Waiting times in ear and eye departments can prove trying

PALS office staff are extremely helpful

Currently the hospital seems very clean and hygienic as far as a visitor can tell.

It is often difficult to contact the hoispital by telephone and this can be frustrating.
