What I liked

My partner was admitted for a routine orthopaedic procedure, prior to theatre the care was good and the attention receivedfrom the consultant was excellent. Post operative care was somewhat lacking with staff failing to give adequate pain relief, assist with personal hygiene, and notice complications arising from the type of anaesthesia used!! Most good nursing care and attention was delivered by the bank nurses and healthcare assistants.

What could be improved

Food and the number of patients allocated to the qualified nurses, too many patients returning from theatre and not enough qualified staff
