What I liked

I had a wisdom tooth removed a couple of years ago here, and right from the word go I foud the whole experience fantastic (apart from the pain!!)

I was greeted, taken through my medical history, changed into a gown and given a bed within 10 minutes. Due to a small error an anaesthetist had not been booked, but one came in within 20 mins and actually came over to introduce herself, apologise, and promise I'd be in theatre soon.

Again, in less than 10 minutes I was whipped into theatre, knocked out and politely woken up, minus one wisdom tooth, what seemed to be shortly afterwards with a glass of ice water. I had no time to panic (having a fear of needles) or worry, and was home in front of the tv by lunchtime!

I've never had such a great experience of the NHS at its best - everyone was calm, quick and extremely competent (at one point, the nurses offered out magazines while we were waiting for the consultants - a lovely touch!)

I'd like to thank everyone involved (even though its a few years late!) and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone.
