Doctors and surgeons

The doctors treated me with respect and dignity, informing me with all the relevant infomration I needed before going into the theatre. They were very diligent; I would recommend having this procedure (ACL reconstruction + meniscus clean up) to anyone at Woodthorpe Hospital.

Facilities

The hospital was clean and the staff were very friendly. The only issue I encountered was with the food. I was somewhat surprised by the lack of fruit and vegetables. They did not meet the NHS recommended 5-a-day.

Nursing Care

Nursing care was great. There happened to be two UoN nursing students on the ward when I was in, they conducted themselves in a very professional and caring manner.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your comprehensive feedback, we do truly value what our patients tell us and are always looking at ways to improve the care and services we provide.

All patients who are staying overnight with us do have a comprehensive menu to choose from and all our food in the evening is cooked to order fresh for each patient. I am sorry that we didn’t provide you with recommended 5 a day, I’ll certainly provide your feedback to our Chef.

If you do return to Woodthorpe Hospital in the future we’ll try even harder to see if we get achieve a five stars for you.
