"Rude and terrible communication and made to..."

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services / Ophthalmology

I went to ophthalmology today and after a lengthy wait, was treated with disrespect and a bad attitude, I nearly walked out half way through the eye test but was convinced to stay by my partner, Left feeling angry and wished I had taken there name and made a formal complaint, but found myself writing this review instead. I have another appointment soon I hope the service / attitude improves

Unfortunately there have been occassions when there have been delays in the clinic but you, and other patients should have been made aware of this.

Sister Moreton has asked that you contact her so that she can offer a personal apology and establsih which clinic you attended so that she can remind staff of the importance of good communication. Sister Moreton can be reached by caling main switchboard on (024) 76351351 or by calling PALS on (024) 7686 5550 who will take your details and ask Sister Morton to contact you.

Kind regards

Christine Longstaff on behalf of the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust
