How can you trust someone to give you a proper examination when they can't even operate a simple appointments system?
Had an radiology appointment at 8.30am. No staff there - they're all late for work. Great start. Finally at 8.50 someone comes to look at my paperwork (after they've greeted other members of staff 'Oh how was your weekend? Fine thanks. Oh good'
And so everybody with appointments at 8.40, 8.50, 9.00 all get seen before me. At around 9.20 I hear them discussing me through the wall of the waiting room. 'But he wasn't late?'. Turns out neither of the radiologists knew which patients were theirs. Even after coming out again and asking my name they failed to see me on the list. Who knew how easy it was to get confused between forenames and surnames?
I finally go in for a scan and they scan the wrong area. I tell them so.... 'but we can only scan what the doctor has asked us to'. Another shining moment example of how well the NHS works.
