"Ward 14"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

Since December my husband has been a patient on the ward twice and a day patient once.

The medical treatment was first rate but what struck us most was the warmth and kindness which surrounded you the minute you entered the ward. Every member of staff- nurses, health assistants and housekeepers were all caring and took time with each patient despite being extremely busy. We were especially grateful to the Sister and the booklet they co-wrote- Patient Urinary Catheter Passport which we found so helpful when back at home. Also the Staff Nurse who juggled several patients in their busy TWOC clinic yet never lost the personal touch. Thank you.

Hello, thank you very much for your kind comments, we do appreciate all the feedback people give us.

I am delighted to hear that you were so happy with the treatment your husband had on Ward 14, and that staff of all types were caring and helpful even when very busy.

It is also really useful to know that the information booklet was helpful, it is good that more of our information nis produced by patients and staff working together, we think it improves the information and how it is presented and it is good to have that feedback.

I will pass your comments on to the staff, I know it will encourage them.
