"Elective caesarean at QCCH"

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital / Maternity

We had to have our baby via elective caesarean under general anaesthetic due to another medical condition that was being managed throughout pregnancy. We found the staff we encountered on our journey exemplary. The surgical team put us at ease once we were checked in and did an outstanding job delivering our baby, and the midwife team who supported us throughout our stay were amazing day and night. We felt supported and informed at all times and the midwife team were great, helping us getting started with breastfeeding which was difficult to start with. The ward we were on was clean and the food supplied was of a good standard too.

We would recommend this hospital to anyone having a baby and cannot speak highly enough of the staff we encountered.
