I was recently in for a Day Procedure (third time). The NHS comes in for a lot of criticism, and yes it is not perfect, but the care I have received at FVRH has always been impeccable. The staff, in not only the Day Surgery ward but throughout the hospital have always been 100%. They do an incredible job (for little money) with no 'moaning and groaning'. The NHS is a government run body who also have the purse strings, however it is the staff who run it and do so with great gusto. Too often we can be critical about the NHS, but we should take a back seat and see what the Medical staff (and other non medical staff) do for us the patients. For one reason or another I have had a lot visits to FVRH over the last three years and I have nothing but praise for all the staff I have encountered. My recent Day Surgery visit was once again great care, always informing me of what is about to happen or who was coming to see me next. I am more than pleased with my care to date, and my the staff continue with the patient care they give - at times under great pressure, more from the patients than any government department.
"Great Care"
