I have a few points I consider are worrying and urgent especially taking into account other patients and these issues need to be addressed at the earliest opportunity.
Firstly taking a commode to a patient for them to use for both forms of toilet, and for this to take place during visiting hours - which at present is virtually all day. It is offensive, embarrassing (for both patients and their visitors) and extremely unhygienic.
Points which need to be looked into as priority. I was also given the wrong dose of tablets on 2 occasions on the same day by the same staff member. I was fortunate in seeing the error immediately before I took the tablets. I reported this and was assured they would be looking into the matter. I have no doubt he will do so as it could have had potentially dire consequences.
