"They treated me with with care and compassion"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Had a fall down stairs resulting in a badly swollen/bruised knee.

Being unable to walk I was advised to go to ED. All staff members I encountered from triage to ED consultant to radiographer to receptionist booking fracture clinic appointment where great, and treated me with with care and compassion.

I was fully informed of everything that was happening/going to happen. All in all only took 2 and a half hours from triage to getting fracture clinic appointment for the next morning. Thank you to everyone in ED for the great and speedy care I received.

What wonderful feedback - thank you very much for taking the time to let us know of your recent experience. What is really apparent is that all staff you came across had the same high standards of care and professionalism. This is just as it should be and is lovely to hear. I will ensure your comments are passed on to all staff in ED and the fracture clinic.

I hope you are recovering well.

With best wishes

Gill
