"Staff made sure that the patient was not in any pain"

I went to the Northern General Hospital ward 7 for Cardiac care. I was very impressed that they did not allow me to be in pain and they cared for me very well.

Some things could have been a little better like the fact that I would have liked a cup of tea in the morning when I woke up not two hours later. The water was collected then not replaced for about an hour leaving me without a drink.

Also the staff members would walk through the ward still in their coats, etc.to take a short cut I assume to the locker room waking patients up and this was very annoying.

I would to thank the A & E department who were under severe pressure.
