I woke up with real discomfort in my left eye and promptly went to my optician who examined both eyes and immediately phoned Lincoln County Hospital for an urgent appointment.....I was seen the same afternoon.

After a small wait, I was seen by a nurse and then a consultant and was then prescribed a range of medication, then I was booked in for another appointment 4 days later to review the situation,

At the review my eye problem had greatly improved and I was asked to make another appointment for a final review in 2 weeks time, whilst continuing with the medication at a lower dose.

Thank you NHS for your time and patience and attention and for being there when both I and my family needed you over the past 5 years, for providing life saving treatment and care.
