What I liked
I think that this hospital is very accessible.
The consultant surgeons are excellent.
The front line staff are working so hard, but there are just not enough of them.
The nurses are fantastic but run ragged, there needs to more - they are the front line and there simply are just not enough of them.
The main corridors and initial impressions are that the hospital is very clean.
What could be improved
The front line staff are too few - there needs to be more nurses and doctors, there is just not enough to deal with demand, if this was the private sector you would have no customers.
Why don't you consider having more junior assistants to deal with cleaning patients rather than taking precious time for nurses to clean up patients after they simply have not made it to the toilet.
There needs to be a rule that all staff wash their hands at the foot of the bed before they touch any patient.
I can advise you that your pharmacy section is one of the real bottleneck problems - and the route of most of the problems, if this was speeded up, more drugs could be administered quickly and patients would recover quicker.
