"Good Experience in Rheumatology Department"

My husband needed a follow up appointment in Rheumatology and, yet again, we were so impressed with everything. Appointment 'on time'. Friendly, helpful Receptionist. Comfortable and light waiting area. Consultant welcoming, kind, thorough, patient, encouraging, informative, extraordinarily aware of all that has happened to my husband, in other departments, since his last visit. Very conscious that the Consultants have very, very many patients of every background and need, and to each and everyone , whatever their age, 'they give their all'. My husband came away so encouraged and so confident that he has had the very best help possible. We pass on our congratulations and appreciation, also to another Consultant and to everyone in this superb Department. Over the past months, we have been involved with the Stroke Unit and Gastroenterology Department and again, have had the most wonderful care. The nursing staff are exemplary....and everyone at the hospital we have encountered has been more than kind and helpful. We feel so fortunate to have West Suffolk Hospital as 'our hospital' and find ourselves always recommending it to friends and family.
