I was referred to the hospital fertility centre after my inability to fall pregnant. My first appointment was when I first felt someone cared. Dr Sankaranarayanan who I met with reassured me that they would do their best for me, she is outstanding in her patient care. I was offered fantastic care by the nurses and was listened to a treated exceptionally. my next appointment was 3 months later but that is to be expected considering the two different scans I needed and all the blood work. during this time I managed one of the scans but was unable to get an appointment for one. I met with Mr Ofuasia on my second appointment who was working even though he was in pain with an injury. He asked Dr Subha to fit me in for a scan that day. Dr Subha did this with fantastic grace and made me feel like I was no problem even though it was done during her break. I have no idea what the outcome of my treatment will be, my wish is obviously to fall pregnant, but to have been treated with such care and attention by this team so far has made the process so far fantastic. We are quick to criticise the NHS but credit where it is due this team has consistently gone above and beyond for me. SO THANK YOU!
As a secondary element I had blood work that day and the lady who took the test was really lovely, caused no pain and had only been in that job a short while. I had no wait for testing and the work was painless. I wish I had her name but she was amazing!
"Fantastic service"
