"Highly recommend"

The nurse at Warlingham Green Medical Practice called an ambulance for me due to breathing difficulties/asthma attack and I went to East Surrey Hospital A&E in January/2017. I was told that it was a very busy day there, busier than usual, so I was prepared for long waits to see a doctor and a consultant. After 10 hours there, I was moved to the Acute Medical Unit where I stayed overnight and then discharged the next day. From medical practice to AMU, the care I received was exceptional. I was treated with kindness and dignity and the staff were professional, efficient and friendly despite how busy they were. Last October, we took our 9 year old son to the Children's A&E there, and again, the staff were great with us and most importantly, our son. They were very caring towards him and he felt safe and well taken care of. I highly recommend East Surrey Hospital if you need hospital care.
