"Couldn't have asked for better treatment at Blandford Community Hospital"

About: Blandford Community Hospital

(as the patient),

I chose Blandford for my minor gynae operation as i work there & know the staff; its small & friendly and the cleanliness is outstanding. I couldn't have asked for better treatment. I would certainly use Blandford again, if the procedure i required was done there; even though Salisbury District Hospital is just down the road from where i live. Community hospitals have a more intimate, friendly atmosphere; they don't appear to have the cold clinical feeling of a larger hospitals. By utilising community hospitals you keep beds free in the larger hospitals for more acute cases, you also keep people in there own community; this surely aids recovery. New Labour, please note this before you close all remaining community hospitals.
