"Rowan ward nightmare"

About: Kettering General Hospital

I had my first baby in July via emergency c-section. The whole experience was dreadful. My midwife in the theatre room was amazing and along a brilliant healthcare my post op aftercare was very good but I'm sorry to say they were the only ones who were. couldn't believe the lack of monitoring and care I recieved. Most of the nurses had very poor attitudes and were very rude. I had no mental or physical support during my weeks stay It was hell. They're no facilities for husbands at all I didn't want my husband to leave my at night because I didn't feel me or my baby were safe he had to sleep on a chair and he was made to feel very unwelcome. The ward was dated and very hot. All in all an awful experience I would never have another baby in at Kettering I'm very sorry to say. So much more I could add I was so disappointed.
