"My Fathers emergency care"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department

My Father was admitted to Treliske on Friday 30 December following a 999 call made by myself.

I thought he had suffered a stroke,

The paramedic that attended was excellent and very thorough and arranged an ambulance.

I drove down and went to A & E, it was very busy but the staff coped under pressure very well,

Everyone was very good and Dad was treated reasonably quickly, it was decided to keep him in and then came the long wait for the bed which was understandable.

He arrived in A & E at about 1630 and finally was taken to MA2 at 2330.

I am pleased to say that he underwent various tests and treatment was decided on and h wase discharged at 1717 on the 2nd January 2017.

I have no complaint at all about the way he was treated, in fact I am very impressed, the staff on the ward was very good and he came out of hospital a different man and has continued to improve since.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone at the Hospital.
