I was referred to Spencer hospital by my GP . The consultant I saw recommended my op I had MRSA test and was informed 2 days later I was plastics so was given kit to use for 5 days and went back for retest . I never heard a thing from them so went to my GP they gave me letter from Spencer on arrival home I phone the hospital to be informed that because I was MRSA positive I was referred back to NHS care only trouble was that the consultant was off sick and my record could not be signed off . Why is this does the hospital come to a stop because a consultant is off , why a wait of over 4 months that they were sitting on a desk waiting to be signed off it took me to contact them to find out what was happening. This situation should not have happened nobody should have to be treated in this way .
