"Hope I never need to go there again!"

About: Ealing Hospital / Accident and emergency

I had to go to A & E due to severe back pain (so severe I had fainted and wet myself, had to call an ambulance when I came to) was seen by the nurse fairly quickly- seen is overstating it though they were more interested in the computer rather than listening to what I had to say. I was then given fluids which no one could tell me why when I asked. Luckily it was not a neurological problem but a mechanical sprain and once they diagnosed it they wouldn't wait to get me out of there. Mind you I wasn't able to sit up on my own let alone get dressed and leave. A nurse popped their head in three times in about ten minutes to hurry me up and I had to say unless they wanted to help me, it was going to take a while. Needless to say, they did not help me. I was prescribed two medicines only one of which was available on the day which I took with me. I got a call the next day to say the other medicine was ready and when my partner went to collect it- they had ready the meds they had already given me th day before! I called again thto day after they had forgotten about it and started processing my prescription once I reminded them...and by now I am losing the will to live. Whoever I speak to is defensive and quick to point out it isn't their fault, I don't actually care do I, I feel like I am getting very shoddy service and I still don't have my medication. Really wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
