"I am proud to call it my local hospital"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted to Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Was initially treated at A and E and then spent 3 days in ward B32. The care I received was excellent, all the staff were lovely and helpful and I was treated with respect and dignity. I can honestly say I am proud to call it my local hospital. The only negative was 1 particular nurse who was rather rude and obnoxious, even towards a visitor who had came to visit me.

Dear James S

Thank you for your lovely feedback. I have shared your posting with both the was and A & E. The staff really appreciated your kind words, it really does make a difference to the staff when they hear from patients about the care they have received.

I was sorry to hear about the member of staff who's behavior could have been better, this is not the behaviour we expect from any member of staff and would like to give you the reassurance that your feedback will also be discussed at the team briefs to highlight how individuals behaviours impact on patient and visitors to the hospital.

I hope that you are recovering well and would like to pass on my very best wishes.

Kindest regards

Pauline Marland
