"A wonderful service at Stanmore"

I needed a full knee replacement operation.

Having never had an operation before, I was terrified of going into hospital. I decided, after researching the internet, that Stanmore Hospital seemed to be my best choice, rather than my local hospital.

I had my operation at the end of January. I went in on the Friday and was discharged on the Monday. The doctors, nurses and anyone else I came in contact with were fantastic. I really appreciated all the staff did for me, and the decision to go to the Stanmore was the best I made.

Stanmore was also a very clean hospital, spotless. So a very big well done to all the staff at Stanmore Hospital you are doing a fantastic job in providing a wonderful service in a very old hospital.

And if my second knee should ever need a replacement, then book me a bed, I'm coming back.
