My mum is 92 yrs old with Alzheimer's and was taken into A&E today with two broken bones in her leg.

Both the staff nurse on duty and the orthopaedic consultant took the time to talk with me on the phone and explain exactly what was going on with my mum, what they planned to do and how she was being cared for.

I live in a different part of the UK and at a very stressful time for our family they were very professional, caring and reassuring.

Worth their weight in gold, especially as the department seemed under pressure.

They were good with my dad and brother who were with my mum as well, great nursing at its best. Well done for all your hard work.
