"Great respect for the staff at the sexual health clinic"

Dr Timaeus was amazing, she contacted me to see if I could make an earlier appointment as having reviewed my file she realised two things:

1. I was in great pain

2. Even though my coil could not be located by the nurse I had seen prior. Due to my medical history and information given, the likelihood was it was still there and she was confident that she could find and remove it without a scan.

I am so glad that I took the chance and went for the earlier appointment as she was extremely knowledgeable as well as reassuring and put me immediately at ease. Which is incredible in itself as I had such an awful experience with the insertion (completely different hospital and borough).

Dr Timaeus was so attentive and gentle with the removal that I felt hardly any pain. Her assistant, Amy, was there to prepare the instruments and to keep my mind off the procedure, which she did perfectly.

All in all, I am in awe and have great respect for both Dr Timaeus and Amy and cannot recommend them highly enough. I really wish that more NHS personnel were like them. I would visit them in a heartbeat if I had any more queries or issues.
