Waited three hours in agony - had norovirus severe form, hadnt slept eaten or been able to drink anything prior to coming in for three days! Have heart failure too!! In the end i saw a nurse at medocc who was only interested in hearing the distressing experience and very uneeded details of my cancer when i was 11 years old and kept on repeating how terrible i looked physically and that my life has been so terrible medicsl wise that they were surprised iv made it this far. Made me do urine test to check i was pregnant even though iv not had sex in years. I found it hard to go to toilet cause of pain in my bones. And cyctitis test and said i was hydrated enough even tho my urine was dark orange. Sent me away with no pain relief and i was in 8/10 agony. The nurse said 'we dont give pain relief'. 8 days later i am still extremely unwell and have had no sleep. I called up to find out who this 'assistance nurse' was and why i didnt see a doctor??? Receptionist was rude and said they cant tell me and didnt want to know. I am only 32 years old. Had i been much older this could be fatal. I needed IV fluids and pain relief at least for a few days! What is wrong with your staff?! What are you going to do about this? This isnt putting the patient first this is abuse to a patient who is sick and cant fend for themselves!
