"Emergency Gynaecology Unit/Early Pregnancy Unit"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

I have just received treatment via the Emergency Gynaecology Unit/Emergency Pregnancy Unit for a missed miscarriage, I honestly can not thank all of the staff at the unit for they're support during this difficult time, from the sonographer, nurses, Drs, anaesthetist, surgeon and surgery staff! They made a horrendous time that but more bearable, I was often reassured and fully informed of all the options available to me and given lots of support through the decision making. It felt as though I was given lots of time to think things through and to grieve for my lost baby (unlike my private scan where I received the news originally and was rushed out of the door!). all staff were sensitive to the situation I was in and I can not thank them enough! Hopefully our our paths will not pass again (in a good way!) thank you again for all of your support! Anyone who is going through a similar situation (for which I am truly sorry) you will be in excellent hands!

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your kind compliments, at what must have been a harrowing time for you.

It was heart-warming to read that our staff made such a difficult time as bearable as possible and helped you through this process.

We have forwarded on your feedback to the Matron for the Emergency Gynae Assessment Unit, who will take much pleasure in ensuring the staff involved in your care are provided with your kind feedback.

With our very best wishes.

The PALS Team.
