"Hospital feedback - diagnosis"

About: Newark Hospital

Has been to hospital to get an advice from A&E department doctors. One of them just shocked after I've asked by what reason my son has got a rash and high fever. The answer was:" I don't know" "I can't understand what are you worrying about?" After the doctor checked my son's ears and throat they finally sent us for urine test.

As I've been told later on, everything was ok,there is a virus (Can hear this every time from any doctor) and I've been told to give some painkillers.

So next day went to a GP and has been told completely different thing- sore ears. So make your own opinion how far away was two different doctors in diagnosis.

Thank you for your message. Feedback is important to us as we strive to improve the care we provide for existing and future patients. It would help us to know more about your son's case so that we can investigate. Could we suggest you contact our Patient Experience Team on 01623 672222 or email us at pet@sfh-tr.nhs.uk
