"No follow up from Linwood MHLC"

About: Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Working age mental health care (community)

(as the patient),

I appoarched Linwood MHRC in August as I was suffering from a very deep b and suicidal tendencies. I was allocated a case worker (name witheld).

S/he gave me a copy of their report which was incorrect. S/he hardly ever returned my calls. I made numerous calls to Linwood to ask him/her to contact me and to make an appointment on a number of occasions which were not followed up. S/he promised to call me on a number of occasions and never did. In the end, I simply gave up. Fortunately, my mental health whilst not '100%' has improved, it is of no thanks to Linwood MHLC.

I understand that the NHS Sussex Partnership has been criticized over handling of patients with mental health problems. I regret to have to say that my experience has merely served to highlight this.
